On Saturday, at approximately 12:46 pm., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received an assault complaint that allegedly occurred on Polk County Road 9 (280th St SW) Andover Township a short distance west of the City of Crookston. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol. The scene was investigated. This is an ongoing active investigation and no other information is being given out at this time.
