The Minnesota Highway Patrol responded to a 2015 Subaru Outback that lost control traveling northbound on Highway 59 to Winger Township this morning at 8:06 a.m. The vehicle hit an icy patch on the roadway, causing the driver to lose control and enter an east ditch, and overturned.
The driver was wearing their seatbelt and received non-life-Threatening injuries. They were transported to the Fosston Hospital for further care.
The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Erskine/Winger Fire, and Essentia EMS.
