MINNESOTA REPORTS 2,160 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 21 DEATHS. POLK COUNTY REPORTS 6 CASES

The Minnesota Department of Health released the COVID-19 numbers for Tuesday, December 15 and the state is reporting 2,160 confirmed cases out of 30,811 tests for a positive rate of seven percent, which is steady over the last two days.  The state also reported 180 probable cases and 21 deaths.

Pennington County-9 cases and 1 probable, Polk County-6 cases and 1 probable, Marshall County-4, Roseau County-3, Red Lake County-1, Lake of the Woods County along with Norman, Marshall and Kittson Counties all reported 0 cases.  No deaths were reported in the eight northwest Minnesota counties.  All the information is below –

Positive PCR test results are considered confirmed cases. Positive antigen test results are considered probable cases.

All probable cases get the same public health follow up and recommendations as cases confirmed by PCR tests.
