MINNESOTA REPORTS 2,528 COVID CASES AND 70 DEATHS. POLK COUNTY HAD 8 CASES

The Minnesota Department of Health has released the COVID-19 numbers for Sunday, December 20 and there were 2,528 confirmed cases out of 58,208 tests for a positive rate of 4.3 percent. The state reported 177 probable cases and 70 deaths.
Polk County-8, Marshall County-4, Mahnomen County-3, Kittson County-2 cases – 2 probable and 1 death (90 to 95-year-old, Lake of the Woods County-2, Norman County-2, Red Lake County-2 cases and 1 probable, Pennington County-1, Roseau County-1.  All the numbers are below –

Data is for cases that were tested and returned positive. All data is preliminary and may change as cases are investigated. Many data points are collected during case interviews. Data presented below is for all cases, regardless of interview status. Data for cases pending interview may be listed as “unknown/missing.”

Positive PCR test results are considered confirmed cases. Positive antigen test results are considered probable cases.

All probable cases get the same public health follow up and recommendations as cases confirmed by PCR tests.
