MINNESOTA REPORTS 6,203 NEW COVID CASES AND 11 DEATHS, POLK COUNTY HAS 40 NEW CASES

The Minnesota Department of Health released the COVID-19 numbers for today and the state reported 6,203 cases with 11 deaths. 0 deaths were reported in northwest Minnesota. Polk County reported 40 new cases with seven probable, Roseau County had 11, Mahnomen County had 9 with two probable, Pennington County had 8 with ten probable, Norman County had seven with two probable. Marshall County had 7 with four probable and Red Lake County had 5 with four probable.

Positive PCR test results are considered confirmed cases. Positive antigen test results are considered probable cases.

All probable cases get the same public health follow up and recommendations as cases confirmed by PCR tests.
