MN DNR TO KICK OFF THE 2023 FALL COLORS SEASON

The Fall colors season is popular in Minnesota each year. Learn what to expect and where to go to enjoy fall colors in 2023.

WHAT:

Many factors play into the timing and brilliance of leaves changing color each fall. Brian Schwingle, forest health specialist, and Kenny Blumenfeld, climatologist, will talk about these factors, things to watch for, and what we might expect this fall based on the information we have today. In addition, Sara Berhow, Parks and Trails public relations supervisor will share information on where to get fall color updates throughout the season, tips for experiencing fall colors in state parks, recreation areas, and trails, and how folks can share their fall colors online.
