The Minnesota Department of Transportation has expanded the no travel advisory in northwestern Minnesota due to blowing and drifting snow. No travel is advised on state and federal highways in the following counties:
- Norman
- Polk
- Kittson
- Marshall
- Pennington
- Red Lake
The no travel advisory also includes Highway 11 from Karlstad to Greenbush. Snowplows will continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve.
