Office of Senator Mark Johnson issues thanks to Veterans

Dear neighbors,

Today we remember and celebrate America’s veterans for their willingness to serve our country and world. The origins of Veterans Day go back to World War I when an armistice between the Allied nations and Germany when into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. We continue to take this day to recognize the sacrifices made by all who have served. As Ronald Reagan said,  “Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction.”

Thank you to all who are served.

God Bless,

Mark
