PIRATE GIRL’S GOLF FINISHES 2ND AT SUBSECTION 8AA NORTH PREVIEW

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Golf team competed on Wednesday in the Pre-Sub-Section meet at Valley Golf Course in East Grand Forks. The Pirates finished 2nd place as a team shooting 364, with Senior Grace Fischer leading the way shooting 91, which was good for a tie for 3rd place individually. Park Rapids won the meet with a 364, which was 30 strokes better than Crookston, and Panthers junior Anna Eckmann was the medalist with a 79.

GRACE FISCHER-
The senior was very consistent, carding four pars, ten bogeys, and four double bogeys for a round total of 91.

HANNAH BROUSE-
Senior Hannah Brouse also avoided big numbers and shot a 92 with five pars, seven bogeys, and six double bogeys.

GEORGIA SANDERS-
Sophomore Georgia Sanders recorded one par in her round along with eight bogeys, four double bogeys, four triple bogeys, and one quadruple bogey for a score of 105.

MORGAN NELSON-
The junior had three pars but two quadruple bogies and three triple bogeys, along with five bogeys and five double bogeys for a 106.

HALLE NICHOLAS-
Freshman Halle Nicholas also shot a 106 with three pars, eight bogeys, and three double bogeys, but carded a 10 on a par five, and 9 on a par four and par three. Nicholas also had one triple bogey.

KAYLIE CLAUSON-
Sophomore Kaylie Clauson had one par along with seven bogeys, five double bogeys, four triple bogeys, and one quadruple bogey for a score of 106.
