PIRATE GIRL’S GOLF WINS CROOKSTON INVITE, HANNAH BROUSE IS THE MEDALIST

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Golf team won the Crookston Invite on Monday held at Minakwa Golf Course. The Pirates shot 386 as a team to narrowly beat Roseau who shot 387. Senior Hannah Brouse was the medalist shooting a 90 and leading the way for the Pirates.

HANNAH BROUSE-
The senior led all competitors shooting a 90 with six pars, eight bogeys, and four double bogeys for a very consistent round.

KAYLIE CLAUSON-
Sophomore Kaylie Clauson carded nine pars, two bogeys, six double bogeys, and one triple bogey for a 91 which was good for a 2nd place finish individually behind teammate Hannah Brouse.

HALLE NICHOLAS
Freshman Halle Nicholas recorded one birdie, three pars, six bogeys, six double bogeys, and two triple bogeys to shoot a 97.

MORGAN NELSON-
The junior also shot a 97 with five pars, six bogeys, five double bogeys, and two triple bogeys.

AVA MARTIN-
Freshman Ava Martin broke 100 today with five pars, three bogeys, seven double bogeys, one triple bogey, and one quadruple bogey.

EMMA LAPLANTE-
Freshman Emma LaPlante also broke 100 with a score of 99. She carded three pars, seven bogeys, four double bogeys, and four triple bogeys. 

Also competing for Crookston was senior Grace Fischer who shot a 102, sophomore Addie Fee who shot a 104, sophomore Georgia Sanders who shot a 109, junior Coral Brekken who shot a 110, freshman Emelia Hoerner who shot a 110, and freshman Lucy Smith who shot a 114.
