Pirate Girls Swimmers Finish 7th At True Team Meet

The Crookston Pirate Girls Swim team finished seventh out of seven teams at the Section 8A True Team meet in Warroad. Crookston had 325 points while Detroit Lakes won the meet with 1,233 points and Bemidji was the runner-up.
Crookston’s Thea Oman continues her impressive senior season with a first-place finish in the 100 Freestyle and second place in the 200 Freestyle. She was also on the fourth place 200 Medley relay and the fifth-place 200 Freestyle relay.
Madison Hoiland continued her fantastic past three weeks with a fourth-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke and she was also on the fourth place 200 Medley Relay and fifth place 200 Freestyle relay.
Crookston will host Grand Forks Central, Grand Forks Red River, and Thief River Falls on Tuesday at the Crookston quad at the Crookston Community pool.
