Pirate Swimmers Finish 3rd at Fosston-Bagley Invite

The Crookston Pirates Girl’s swimming team won four events and finished second place in four more and finished third place with 168 points at the Fosston-Bagley Invitational in Fosston.  Fosston-Bagley won the event with 296 points, five points better than Perham. 
Thea Oman led the Pirates with three first place and one second place finish apiece.  Elizabeth Erdman had two first place and two second place finishes.  Madison Hoiland had one first place and three second place finishes as the three Pirates continue to lead the team.  Crookston had their 200 Freestyle Relay team take first place with Claire Oman, Hoiland, Erdman and Thea Oman on the team.  The 200 Medley Relay team of the same four girls finished second place.  Thea Oman had first place finishes in the 100 and 200 freestyle races as she continues to cut time on those races.  Erdman had another nice time in the 100 Butterfly for a first place finish and had a second place finish in the 500 freestyle after cutting more time. 
Crookston travels back to Fosston on Thursday for a dual with Fosston-Bagley.
