POLK COUNTY COURTHOUSE TO GET TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES FOLLOWING GOVERNOR WALZ BILL SIGNING

On Thursday, Governor Tim Walz signed Chapter 1, SF 5 into law.  This bill permits the Polk County Law Library to transfer money in its fiscal reserve to pay for the cost of technology upgrades in the Polk County Courthouse at the Justice Center. Additionally, it permits Itasca County to add a small parcel of unorganized territory to Harris Township if there are not 20 or more voters residing in that territory.
