POLK COUNTY PIONEER DAY ATTRACTS 100’s OF PEOPLE

The Polk County Pioneer Day was held this afternoon at the Polk County Historical Society Museum. There were live musical performances by the O’Neil Family Musicians, Alex Conwell, and the Woodpicks. The Sun Country and You Petting Zoo was available for kids, and plenty of antique machines and equipment were on site to look at.

There was also Fry bread that was served, blacksmithing demonstrations from Randy Oberg of Grand Rapids, and free wagon rides by Point Paradise Stables.

Below are pictures from the event throughout the day. The event was sponsored by the Polk County Historical Society and made possible in part by an Arts Legacy Grant from the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council.
