POLK COUNTY PULLS PLOWS OFF ROADS UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING, HIGHWAY 2 AND 75 CLOSED

Here are the latest road closures and travel updates from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Highway 2 is closed from Crookston to East Grand Forks. 

Highway 75 closed from Canada to South Norman County Line by Perley. 

Polk County Road 17 between Highway 2 and Polk County Road 66 is closed. 

Polk County Road 11 east of Crookston to Gentilly and Polk County Road 15 from Crookston to Fisher are closed. 

Highway 220 closed from Climax to Highway 11. 

Highway 1 closed from North Dakota to Thief River Falls. 

Highway 11 closed from North Dakota to Karlstad or TH59. 

Highway 175 closed from North Dakota to TH59. 

Highway 171 closed from TH75 to North Dakota 

Highway 200 closed from North Dakota to Ada.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has expanded the no travel advisory in northwestern Minnesota due to reduced visibility from blowing and drifting snow. 
MNDOT has also enacted a no travel advisory for all routes north and west of Thief River Falls due to heavy snow and low visibility.
