Polk County to Hold Public Meeting on Opioid Settlement Funds
Local government officials and community members are encouraged to attend
Under the Minnesota Opioids State-Subdivision Memorandum of Agreement, Polk County is holding its annual public meeting with municipalities to consult on the county‘s future use of Opioid Settlement funds. Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Polk County Public Health is serving as Polk County’s Chief Health Strategist to identify, collaborate, and respond to local issues as the Polk County Board of Commissioners decide over time how to leverage and disburse the County’s allocated Opioid Settlement Funds. The Polk County Board of Commissioners has appointed an Advisory Council that recommends how to most effectively, efficiently, and equitably utilize the Opioid Settlement Funds awarded.
