The north end of Crookston was hit by a power outage this afternoon. The Crookston High School, the Crookston Sports Center and many others were affected by the outage late this afternoon.
Otter Tail Power Company is reporting the cause of the outage was a power pole on fire in the area of 218 3rd Ave. Most of the power has been restored except for a small area around 3rd Ave North. The remaining area should power restored around 5:00 p.m.
