Prairie Public doing interviews for new documentary in Crookston January 9 and 10

Prairie Public, a member station of PBS and NPR, will record interviews for its new documentary at the University of Minnesota Crookston on January 9 and 10. It is seeking first—and second-generation immigrants and refugees living in Minnesota willing to share their stories. Participants will be interviewed on camera, and they are encouraged to bring photos or other items that help express their journeys.

Interviews at U of M Crookston will be held in the Kiehle Building on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, January 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged. For more information and to sign up for a time slot, visit prairiepublic.org/MinnesotaStories.

This project is made possible by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment’s Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
