Please be advised that the public access points to the Red River through Polk County are closed due to the rise of the Red River.
With the increasing river levels, existing ice jams, and debris in the river, it is unsafe for public use at this time. Access will be re-opened when the river recedes to a safe level.
As the waters rise, Polk County expects some overland flooding and additional road closures. Please continue to watch the Polk County Website for updated information on the road closings.
