RED LAKE COUNTY BOY’S BBALL DOMINATES IN 97-40 WIN OVER CROOKSTON

Red Lake County Rebels Boy’s Basketball team came out red hot and also forced a lot of Crookston Pirate turnovers, and scored an amazing 69 first-half points before taking it easy in the second half and cruised to a 97-40 victory in a game played at Robert Matzke gymnasium.

Red Lake County widened its lead to 69-19 at the half.  The Rebels did everything, great passing, outside shooting, monster jam by Gerald Melin.

SECOND HALF
Red Lake County started the second half on an 11-2 run with four different players scoring and Crookston’s lone points coming from Isaac Thomforde.  Red Lake County took it easy on the Pirates as the game hit running time with nine minutes left in the game.  The Rebels worked the ball around and slowed down the game, making sure they didn’t run up the score and they ended with an impressive 97-40 victory.
