On Monday, February 2, 2026, Task Force Officers from the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force arrested Alex Oliver Lee Kaiser at his home in Polk County, MN, near Crookston.

Officers had learned of suspected cocaine distribution at the home and a search warrant was obtained. With the assistance of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (K9) and Minnesota State Patrol (K9) the search warrant was executed without incident.
Approximately one pound of suspected cocaine was seized along with significant amounts of MDMA (69 grams), psilocybin mushrooms (1,561 grams), marijuana (3,634 grams), cash and six guns.
After being advised of his rights, Kaiser admitted that everything in the house was his, had been selling marijuana for a couple of years to people from Crookston, he “shared” cocaine with family and friends a couple of times each week; he had been using cocaine for five years, and he paid approximately $19,000 for the pound of cocaine.
The Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force is a Violent Crime Enforcement Team covering eight counties in northwest Minnesota. According to their mission statement, their priorities are the suppression of illegal narcotics and violent crime through the combined efforts of local, state, and federal agencies by actively pursuing illicit manufacturers, distributors, and violent offenders; to protect the safety, dignity, and property of our citizens through education and enforcement while maintaining public trust.
The Task Force has released a new “P2PTip” smartphone app that enables the public to share anonymous tips with officers and lets officers respond back to create an anonymous two-way conversation. Those without a smartphone can share information by sending an anonymous text tip by texting keyword “P2PTIP “ and then their message to 847411 (tip411).
