The Crookston Pirate Girls Soccer team held its end-of-the-season banquet on Sunday (October 29) evening and handed out conference and team awards. The girls also recorded messages of gratitude to express a person they are thankful for. The gratitude messages are posted at the bottom before the pictures. The Crookston Pirate Girls Soccer team took on the Pelican Rapids Vikings in a Section 8A Quarterfinal match in very windy conditions. Four different Crookston players scored in a 4-0 win over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley. The Section 8A matchup was played in Crookston and saw the return of Reese Swanson from injury, but not in net where she usually plays.
