Crookston water main breaks have been repaired

After two water main breaks in a 24-hour period in the City of Crookston, the Public Works crew worked to address the issues. Both water main breaks in the neighborhoods of North Broadway, Stearns Street, 4th Avenue North, and Elm Street and Summit Avenue have been fixed. Public Works will properly backfill the dig sites

Fisher Avenue in Crookston from Casey’s to the arena closed until Monday

The Polk County Highway Department said it will close Fisher Avenue in Crookston from Casey’s to the Crookston Sports Center because it cannot keep up with the blowing snow, continually making large drifts.
