Jana (Carlson) Hedlund, a Crookston High School graduate (1998) was a 2019 Minnesota Teacher of the Year candidate semi-finalist. The Crookston High School recently purchased new wall pads for the Crookston High School gymnasium and they were installed by Mike Geffre and several of his students in his vocational technology classes throughout the day.
