The Crookston Ox Cart Days Rotary Duck Drop was held this past Sunday in the Drafts Sports Bar & Grill Parking lot. The event was put on by the Crookston Rotary Club, and all proceeds from the event will stay in the community and go towards UMC Scholarships, CHS Scholarships, and Community Beautification. The 2021 Ox Cart Days Crookston’s Got Talent Contest was held this afternoon at Downtown Square. There were six different participants, with the top three taking home a cash prize. Talents ranged from singing, “robotic dancing,” and playing the piano. The audience was the judge based on a round of applause after all the acts.
A familiar name won the Happy Joes Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor pizza eating contest as reigning champion Dan Erdman defended his crown by winning the 2021 contest on Saturday afternoon at the Downtown Square in Crookston.
