The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Swimming team’s Madison Hoiland had an impressive day with two first-place finishes and the Pirates finished fifth place at the University of North Dakota High School Girl’s Swimming Meet. PIRATE GIRL’S SWIMMERS TIE FOR THIRD IN CROOKSTON INVITE

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Swimmers tied for third place with 13 points matched by Warroad/Roseau in the Crookston Invitational hosted at the Crookston Community Pool. Detroit Lakes won the invite with a team score of 124 while Thief River Falls took second place with 36 points. Crookston was led by Madison Hoiland and Mackenzie Aamoth.

PIRATE GIRLS SWIMMERS TURN IN SOLID PERFORMANCES AT FOSSTON

The Crookston Pirate Girls Swim team competed at the Fosston-Bagley duals. Perham beat Crookston 59-34 and Fosston-Bagley beat Crookston 66-26. The Crookston Pirate girls swimming team finished in third place in their own tri-angular with Fosston-Bagley winning the meet with 176 points while Thief River Falls took second place with 162 points at the Crookston Community Pool.
