POLK COUNTY BUSINESSES RECEIVED MORE THAN $600,000 IN SMALL BUSINESS GRANTS

The Polk County Commissioners have approved the small business relief grants to 126 businesses throughout Polk County. Grant amounts ranged from $1,000 to $25,000, with a total of $622,143 being allocated. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: SPRING FLOOD RISK QUITE LOW; FLASH DROUGHT POSSIBLE IN SPRING

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks released its first spring flood outlook for 2021 on Thursday. As you can imagine, given the mild winter, the spring snowmelt flood risk is quite low.
