NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: SPRING FLOOD RISK QUITE LOW; FLASH DROUGHT POSSIBLE IN SPRING

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks released its first spring flood outlook for 2021 on Thursday. As you can imagine, given the mild winter, the spring snowmelt flood risk is quite low. Warning Coordination Meteorologist Greg Gust said a dry fall and below normal snowpacks are prevalent throughout Crookston and the entire Red River
