Students at Our Savior’s Lutheran School in Crookston observed National Lutheran Schools Week January 21 – 26. This year’s theme, “Connected,” celebrated all of the ways that the students are connected to others. Students and staff participated in scavenger hunts, educational sessions, games, service projects, and special meals together.
The National Weather Service in Grand Forks, North Dakota, has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Crookston and portions of the northwest and west-central Minnesota and eastern North Dakota. Students at Our Savior’s Lutheran School presented their Christmas program, “Now Sing We, Now Rejoice,” on Wednesday, December 13. The history of Christmas carols and the connection to Jesus’s birth was shared through song and recitation. Pictures from the program are below.
