HIGHWAY 220 NORTH OF EAST GRAND FORKS NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC

The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today the completion of the box culvert project on Highway 220 north of East Grand Forks. The road was previously closed from County Road 21 to County Road 23. Led by the Red Lake Watershed, crews installed a box culvert through Highway 220, one mile north of Polk County Highway

THE VILLAGE RECEIVES GRANT FOR TECHNOLOGY TO SERVE POLK COUNTY AND THE REGION

The Village Family Service Center has been awarded $2,500 to purchase technology for its Grand Forks office staff to assist with remote work arrangements during the COVID-19 crisis. The funds came from the Nonprofit Relief Fund, distributed in the Grand Forks area by the Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and the region.

HIGHWAY 89 NEAR GRYGLA CLOSED DUE TO CULVERT FAILURE

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has enacted a road closure on Highway 89 from Highway 1 to Marshall County Road 54 near Grygla due to a culvert failure. The highway will remain closed until further notice and traffic should seek alternate routes. MnDOT crews continue to monitor water levels along with the remaining highway segments
