CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL KNOWLEDGE BOWL TEAM WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT COMPETITION

CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL KNOWLEDGE BOWL TEAM WINS UMC COMPETITION

The Crookston High School Knowledge Bowl teams finished first, seventh, and 13th place at the University of Minnesota Crookston Knowledge Bowl competition on Tuesday.  27 teams competed in the competition. Members of the first-place team are Ben Brantner, Walker Winjum, Emily Gillette, Tai Baig, and Scott Cordova.  The team is coached by Katelyn Stegman.

CROOKSTON HOMECOMING COURT VISITS SCHOOLS

The Crookston Pirate Homecoming Court visited Highland, Washington, and Cathedral Schools on Wednesday morning.  They also visited the residents at the Villa St. Vincent. The school held a pep fest earlier in the morning with the senior football players choreographing a dance routine.   The high school girls will play powder puff football at 3:00 p.m.

SOPHIA STEINER CROWNED MISS CROOKSTON 2019

The Miss Crookston Scholarship Pageant was held Friday night at the Crookston High School auditorium with the theme, “Rock and Roll” – Celebrating 29 years of spectacular women. 2018 Miss Crookston, Thea Oman, crowned the new 2019 Miss Crookston Sophia Steiner, and winner of the On-Stage Presence and co-winner of the Personal Interview competition; and
