CROOKSTON PIRATE WRESTLERS MAKE QUICK WORK OF HILLSBORO-CV

The Crookston Pirate Wrestlers won their fifth dual of the season when they beat the Hillsboro-Central Valley Burros 54-27 in a match that took less than an hour in Hillsboro.  “I thought our guys wrestled well tonight,” said Pirate Coach Wes Hanson.  The match started at 152-pounds and Hillsboro-Central Valley picked up a 7-4 win

PIRATE WRESTLERS HAVE TWO CHAMPIONS, FINISH 2ND IN RODD OLSON INVITATIONAL

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had six wrestlers in the championship and came away with two champions and a team runner-up finish with 162 points, 51 points behind United North Central, as they hosted the Rodd Olson Invitational Wrestling tournament at the Crookston High School gymnasium.  TEAM RESULTS –  1. CROOKSTON PIRATE WRESTLERS GO 3-2 AT HILLSBORO DUAL MEET

The Crookston Pirates Wrestling team opened up the season and won three matches and lost two while having five wrestlers go undefeated on the day and their 103-pounder Evin Trudeau won the pinners award by winning all five matches by pin with an average time of 1:36.  The match scores, results, and stories are below.
