The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had four varsity wrestlers competing in the Northwest Invitational tournament in Fertile. The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had five open weights out of the 13 spots in the lineup and lost both duals at the Badger/Greenbush-Middler River triangular. Crookston lost to BGMR 66-16 and lost to Roseau 54-18. CROOKSTON VS BGMR – Crookston had five open weights and started the match having to make up 30 points.
The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team competed at the Minnewaska Tournament. Five total wrestlers competed, and two of them finished in the top four. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa won the team portion with 204.5 points. Crookston finished 10th with a total of 42.0 points. TEAM SCORES – 1. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa- 204.5 2. Little Falls- 159.0 3. The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team competed at the Rumble on the Red tournament at the FargoDome. Varsity had two wrestlers compete, and the JV had nine wrestlers compete in the two-day event.
