KROX NAMED MARCONI AWARD FINALIST FOR SMALL MARKET STATION OF THE YEAR

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced the finalists for the 2022 NAB Marconi Radio Awards in a livestreamed video. and KROX Radio in Crookston was named one of the five National finalists for the Small Market Radio Station of the year.  It is the second time in four years that KROX has been named a finalist.

CRAZY DAYS IN CROOKSTON IS KICKING OFF ON THURSDAY

Crazy Days in Crookston is set for Thursday, July 21, all around Crookston, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will have a variety of activities and sales from multiple businesses and organizations in Crookston. The theme for this year’s Crazy Days is carnival/fair due to it happening close to the recent county fairs

CITY OF CROOKSTON PUBLIC WORKS BEGINS ROAD AND SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION

The City of Crookston has started multiple construction projects this week and has many others planned for the summer. With projects ranging from simply filling potholes to repaving entire roads and sidewalks. Crookston Public Works Director Brandon Carlson said fighting the floods this spring had put them about a month and a half behind schedule

KROX RADIO NOON NEWS WINS EDWARD R. MURROW AWARD FOR BEST NEWS CAST!

KROX Radio was informed Friday morning that we have won the Edward R. Murrow award for Best Newscast for our Noon Time news in Region 4.   The region includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin radio stations.   KROX is now one of 13 finalists for the National Award that will be announced in October.
