Crookston High School Greenhouse construction progressing

In October 2024, Crookston High School Industrial Tech teacher Travis Oliver and, at the time, agriculture teacher Carolyn Pavlish presented to the school board on a plan to build a greenhouse after receiving a grant from the University of Minnesota Extension. Crookston Police called to a car and kid on a bike accident

On October 2nd, 2025, at approximately 3:35 pm, the Crookston Police Department responded to the intersection of East Robert St. and Bridge St. for a report of a vehicle/pedestrian accident. A juvenile male, age 10, of Crookston, was riding his bike eastbound in the crosswalk at the intersection of East Robert St. and Bridge St.

Minnesota communities and schools invited to apply for funding to enhance transportation goals

Minnesota communities, schools and their partners are invited to apply for funding on local projects that enhance transportation goals, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
