On April 7 at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a high-speed pursuit that had entered Polk County from Marshall County. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was advised that the pursuit started in North Dakota at the Pembina Port of Entry when confronted by US Customs and Border Protections.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has received multiple reports of scam calls of which the callers identify themselves as Polk County Employees.
