POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CALLED TO AN ASSAULT IN GONVICK, FIND A DECEASED MALE

UPDATE 8-26-19 11:48 a.m. On Friday, August 23 at approximately 11:47 p.m. Polk County deputies responded to a report of an assault at 29631 420th Ave SE, Gonvick.  Upon arrival, Jonathon Neil Sundquist (9-2-67) from rural Gonvick was found to be deceased. The MN BCA is also assisting with the investigation.  This investigation is ongoing

DECEASED MALE LOCATED WEST OF NIELSVILLE BRIDGE THURSDAY AFTERNOON

On Thursday, August 22, at approximately 1:12 p.m., Polk County deputies responded to the area near the bridge west of Neilsville on 440th St. SW.  A male was located deceased.  No criminal activity or risk to the public are suspected.  No further information is being released at this time.
