APPROVAL OF BIDS FOR THE MULTI-USE COMPLEX The board approved several bids for the Multi-Use Sports Complex. The first bid was a landscaping bid from Total Lawn Care for $70,019.89. The Crookston Housing & Economic Development Authority met before the City Council meeting on Monday night for a special meeting. The board first approved the minutes from their meetings on January 17 and 23 and their Payables for February. The CHEDA checks for the month totaled $72,294.32, and the March 1 CHEDA checks for $66,578.15.
The Crookston City Council held a variety of public hearings during their meeting on Friday night. Seven public hearings were held for proposed street improvements and one for unpaid code enforcement and utility charges. Public hearings were also continued from July 23 franchise fee agreements with Otter Tail Power Company and Red Lake Electric Cooperative.
The Crookston Ways & Means Committee will hold a closed meeting Monday, November 25 at 6:00 p.m. for negotiations in the conference room at City Hall. That will be followed by the City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers and the regularly scheduled Ways & Means Committee meeting immediately following City Council.
