Crookston Pirate Girls Soccer senior goaltender Reese Swanson has been named to the Minnesota High School Girls Soccer Coaches Association All-State Second team. 48 players were selected to the first and second teams out of around 1,400 players in Class A. Four different Crookston players scored in a 4-0 win over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley. The Section 8A matchup was played in Crookston and saw the return of Reese Swanson from injury, but not in net where she usually plays.
