PIRATE BOYS HOCKEY GETS THE 4TH SEED IN SECTION 8A BOYS HOCKEY TOURNEY

The Crookston Pirate Boys Hockey team will host the Detroit Lakes Lakers on Thursday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the first round of the Section 8A Boys Hockey tournament after the seedings were released Wednesday morning.  Crookston and Detroit Lakes will meet in the first round for the fourth straight year.  East Grand Forks

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Javier Nicolau (February 13, 2019)

The KROX Radio Athlete of the Week is University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle Men’s Basketball player, Javier Nicolau, a 6’10 Junior forward, from Castellon, Spain. This past weekend, Nicolau started both games playing a combined 43 minutes while averaging 13 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. Nicolau scored a career-high 17 points
