Washington School collected cereal boxes during December for various learning experiences, including literacy, math, and STEM. The children were able to count, recognize letters, and build with the cereal boxes. The ultimate goal was to collect cereal for the community. Early Childhood Family Education’s (ECFE) Grandparents Night was held on Monday, November 25th, at Washington School. Crookston’s Early Childhood Family Education is meeting the needs of more families by offering new class times and locations. An evening Mixed Age Magic class will return in an evening format on Thursdays, October 10, November 14, and December 12, from 4:30—6 p.m. Families meet in the classroom/gym for circle time with stories and songs.
