The All-Section 8A Girls Hockey team and coaches of the year were announced Saturday evening. Crookston’s Tim Moe was named the Section 8A Coach of the Year and Pirate goalie Grace Koshney was named to the All-Section first team, and Nora Peterson was named to the All-Section second team. Moe was quick to praise his team’s accomplishments this year for the awards. “Reflecting the team’s improvement this year,” said Moe. “It shows how much we continued to grow as this season went on. It’s really a credit to the work all of our girls put in all season.”
