TRI-VALLEY AND POLK COUNTY FAIR ACCEPTING OUTSTANDING SENIOR CITIZEN AWARD NOMINEES

The Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc’s Senior Programs Department is excited to be partnering with the Polk County Fair Board in planning the special Senior Citizen Day at the Polk County Fair. Senior Citizen Day will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, starting at 9:30 am with all the normal music, entertainment, awards, Bingo, and most importantly, laughter.

A big part of the Polk County Fair is honoring two special seniors with the Outstanding Senior Citizen Award. We are honored to be a part of finding, awarding, and recognizing two passionate, dedicated, and heart-giving Polk County Seniors. We are looking to you to assist with finding worthy nominees to be considered for the award. To be considered for the Outstanding Senior Citizen Award, the potential senior volunteers must meet the following criteria:

  • The nominee must be a resident of Polk Minnesota.
  • The nominee must be age 55 or older by June 1 of the current year.
  • Nominees must currently do volunteer activities that are unpaid and demonstrates a commitment to their local community.
  • You may only nominate one individual per nomination form.
