TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH TO HOST 11TH ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE IN MEMORY OF CHERYL STEINBRINK

Trinity Lutheran Church is set to host the 11th annual Blood Drive in memory of Cheryl Steinbrink on Wednesday, December 20, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Cheryl Steinbrink passed away in 2012 and served as a nurse at Riverview Health. Blood Drive event coordinator and daughter of Steinbrink, Jenn Walz, explained that her mother was an avid blood donor and loved celebrating Christmas. Walz also stated that this time of year blood donations are crucial, and that is a driving factor of why this blood drive is scheduled during the holidays.

“This time of year is really hard, and people get sick,” said Walz, “People need blood more than ever. If you are able and willing to donate please donate. You can help save a life.”

To sign up for the donation, visit donors.vitalant.org, use the blood drive code (Crookston) or call Jenn Walz at 218-368-6920. If you have questions regarding donation eligibility, call 1-800-289-6920.
