The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) volleyball program earned the United States Marine Corps (USMC)/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2019-20 season. The Golden Eagles were one of 1,313 programs that earned the award for the 2019-20 school year. UMC made the Academic Honor Roll for NCAA Division II, as their 3.68 team GPA was one of the Top 36 GPAs nationally.
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.
