The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle Men’s Basketball program has received a verbal commitment from CJ (Carel) Ray from Frank Phillips College, a Division 1 Junior college from Borger, Texas.
Ray is a 6’5, 215-pound Freshman guard from Four Oaks, North Carolina. He is averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game this season. He is shooting 48 percent from the field, 33 percent on three-pointers and 78 percent from the free-throw line. He has started in 25 of the 26 games this season and is averaging 26 minutes per game.
