Sagna recorded 11 points, 3rebounds, and 2assists per game as a sophomore at Howard College. He shot 38.9 percent from the field. “Blaize is a high level person that is committed to a team first culture,” said Head Coach Dan Weisse. “He has been coached hard at his junior college and athletics runs in his family. Blaize can handle the ball and he makes great decisions with the ball. He is able to score but is also unselfish and will make the correct plays for his teammates. Blaize is the type of teammate that makes those around him better. He is a tough guy that takes pride on the defensive end of the floor and in doing the little things that it takes to win. Blaize is a great asset to Crookston on the floor and off. I’m excited to welcome Blaize to the Golden Eagle basketball family!”
His father is a professional kickboxer.

Chandler Meeks (G, 6-1 185, Omaha, Neb./Omaha Westside H.S.)
Meeks played as a prep at Omaha Westside H.S. As a senior, he averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. As a junior, Meeks had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. Meeks was named to the All-State honorable mention, and All-Metro Second Team as a senior for Omaha Westside H.S. “Chandler is a strong, tough lead guard,” said Head Coach Dan Weisse. “He can really handle the ball and comes in ready to defend at a high level. He always seems to find a way to get things done and is a winner. I am expecting Chandler to come in and compete for minutes as a freshman. He is a high character young man that comes from a wonderful family. I am excited to welcome Chandler, his father Al and mother Cherise to the Golden Eagle Basketball family.”
He is the son of Al Meeks, Jr. and Cherise Meeks. Meeks plans to major in business. He has been involved in DECA, and is a member of the honor roll. His brother Trae Meeks played at Avila University.
