NEBRASKA-KEARNEY BUILDS UP A FIRST HALF LEAD TO DEFEAT UMC WOMEN 74-58

The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Golden Eagles Women’s Basketball played a couple exhibition’s against Division I opponents, lost both to the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the UND Fighting Hawks. The Golden Eagles found out more about themselves and worked hard in practice to get ready for this season. UMC will be in Marywood, Missouri tonight to play a couple games this weekend on the campus of Northwest Missouri State. UMC will start with the University of Nebraska-Kearney Lopers who are coming off an excellent year going 23-4 on the year and made the NCAA Tournament, winning their first game over Minnesota Duluth and then were eliminated by Central Missouri in the third round. Game time is 5:30 PM at Bearcat Arena in Marywood. The Golden Eagles will play the host, Northwest Missouri State.
