On Sunday, April 18, 2021, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers from the University of North Dakota responded to a report of a welfare check at an apartment complex on campus.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a male subject who was deceased. Based on a preliminary investigation, it appears the male subject died of a self-inflicted injury.
The investigation is active and ongoing, and the name of the subject is being withheld pending notification of family.
