CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT

Crookston City Council

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting will begin with an “Oath of Office” as officers James Brandon and Loren Edevold will be sworn in.

The Consent Agenda includes approval of the September 27 meeting minutes and a resolution approving City of Crookston bills and disbursements in the amount of $405,883.22. The Consent Agenda will also include the approval of the Crookston Housing & Economic Development Authority agenda for their upcoming meeting on October 19, and there will be a resolution approving a partial payment for Federal Funded Street Improvements.

The Regular Agenda includes a resolution to approve dispensing of Intoxicating Liquor at the Crookston Sports Center for the University of Minnesota Crookston tailgating party on October 23, and a resolution to approve a dance permit for the University of Minnesota Crookston Homecoming Dance that will take place on the premises of the Crookston Inn on October 23. There will also be a resolution accepting a bid and awarding the contract for cleaning, repairing, and painting two filter pressure vessels. The final resolution will be to approve the Crookston Public Works Department’s purchase of a Motor Grader for 2022.

The Ways & Means meeting scheduled to take place right after has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items.
