UMC VOLLEYBALL LOSE IN FOUR TO THE MARY MARAUDERS IN BISMARCK, N.D.

The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles Volleyball team who are suffering through 12 straight losses were able to come up with a win in one game, but although they played very well, the University Mary Marauders won the Northern Sun Conference match 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 22-25, 25-19) in Bismarck, N.D. this afternoon. It was the 13th straight loss for UMC who are 1-17 on the season and 0-13 in the conference. Two particular Golden Eagles stood out in the match, Lauren Wallace (Sr-Bloomington Jefferson) with nine kills, four blocks, seven digs, two assists and two aces!!! Natalie Koke (Jr-Caledonia, WI) had four kills, two blocks, 29 assists and two aces.  The University of Mary who broke a six game losing streak when they defeated Bemidji State 3-1 last night and now made it a weekend sweep and improved their record to 5-17 overall and improved their conference record to 2-11.  UMC will be back home on Thursday night hosting Bemidji State.
